Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing speech-language pathology services in a K-12 educational setting requires specialized skills and dedication. Located in Woodbridge, VA, this full-time contract position offers an opportunity to support elementary and middle school students in speech and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology assessments and interventions to students in grades K-12
- Manage a caseload of up to 55 students, primarily in elementary and middle school
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school guidelines and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Active Virginia SLP licensure required
- CCCs preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered with provided supervision
- Experience in school settings is beneficial but not necessary
- Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday) or part-time with a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Comfortable managing caseloads across one or two assigned schools
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Location and Schedule:
- Based in Woodbridge, VA, approximately 45 minutes south of Washington, DC
- Position runs from January 5, 2026 through May 29, 2026
